Information on the two day E/B Mod & Hornet Nationals

Sept 8^th and 9^th  (You can only drive one class per night. This is a special for all the E/B Mod and Hornet guys that don’t get to run for big money)

Pre-Registration for E/B Mods & Hornets for this race is $50 before August 31^st, after it will be $75.

Friday Night Sept 8^th

Pits open at 2 / End Draw 6:30 / Stands at 6 / HL at 7 / Racing to follow

E/B Mods / Hornets and Pro L/M’s

E/B Mods and Hornets will Qualify, run Heats and a Dash

Pro L/M’s will run a regular program

Saturday Night Sept 9

Modifieds will run a regular race program

E/B Mods and Hornets will run B Mains and Last Chance races

Saturday nights Features

Modifieds 25 laps for $2000 to win and $200 to start

E/B Mods 60 lap feature with break at 30 laps for tear offs and fuel ONLY on frontstretch

E/B Mods feature $4000 to win and $300 to start

Hornets 30 laps for $2000 to win and $200 to start

E/B Mods will run under HART Limited Mod rules except NO passing points.

Around $30,000 total payout in these two days.

The other classes over the years and this year have had big paying races so I wanted to give the E/B Mods and Hornets a huge race to say Thank you for supporting me for the last 14 years as this will be the last race I promote. Please share and help me spread the word so we can have a huge car count and nice crowd for this big event and if successful it can be even bigger next year. 33rd Modified Plow Boy Nationals

Sunday Sept 3^rd will see the 33^rd running of the Modified Plow Boy Nationals sponsored by Poignant Logging at the high banks of the Spoon. A great field of Modifieds are expected as the MARS Modified series will be running a 50 lap feature event for $5000 to win. Also on hand will be the Niedig Trucking DirtCar Pro Late Models running for $1000 to win, the FS E/B Mods (HART Series) for $600 to win and the Country Line Bar and Grill Dirtcar Hornets running for $250 to win. Full purse payout is on the website under the rules tab. This will also be a great warm up chance for the HART Limited Modified Series as they get ready for next weekends two day event on Sept 8^th and 9th paying the feature winner on the 9^th $4000.

Meet the Drivers

This Saturday night August 26^th will be Meet the Drivers night at the Spoon. Fans will be invited down onto the front straight away to meet their favorite driver before the races. This will begin around 6 and last until 6:45. End of draw will still be 5:30. Hot lap TT will begin at 7 with racing to begin around 7:30. Classes and Prices are listed on the flyer.

Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions Invades Spoon River Speedway

NOS Energy Drink presents the Rumble on the River at Spoon River Speedway

The Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions will headline the program with an $8,000 to-win main event!  Canton, Ill., native Chris Windom will be in competition piloting the Lane Racing #4 machine.

The program will also feature the DIRTcar Modifieds ($2000) and Hornets ($200).
